Die Herstellung erfolgt in der Macduff Distillery direkt am Fluss Deveron, wo sowohl Macduff- als auch Deveron-Abfüllungen entstehen. Der Whisky wird mit 40% abgefüllt und – wie bei vielen Destillerien üblich – kühlfiltriert sowie farblich angeglichen, um ein konsistentes Erscheinungsbild sicherzustellen. The Deveron 12 Years gilt als eigenständige Interpretation der Region, die sich durch ihre Kombination aus kräuterhaltigen Noten, sanfter Frucht und einer angenehm zurückhaltenden Fassstruktur auszeichnet.
