Diese Serie wurde als Hommage an die sieben Master Distiller der Destilleriegeschichte ins Leben gerufen – die sechste Ausgabe ehrt dabei James Howard Bedford, der von 1988 bis 2008 als Master Distiller tätig war und über zwei Jahrzehnte lang die Qualität und das Aroma des Jack Daniel’s Whiskeys prägte.
Wie alle Whiskeys der Marke basiert auch diese Abfüllung auf dem klassischen Old No. 7 Rezept, wird jedoch mit einem leicht erhöhten Alkoholgehalt von 43 % Vol. abgefüllt – was dem Whiskey etwas mehr Tiefe, Struktur und Wärme verleiht. Hergestellt wird er aus einer Maische mit einem hohen Maisanteil, durchläuft die typische Holzkohlefilterung nach dem Lincoln County Process, und reift in neuen, ausgebrannten amerikanischen Weißeichenfässern.
