Der Tement Sauvignon Blanc Ried Zieregg Kapelle Südsteiermark DAC 2022 ist ein beeindruckender österreichischer Weißwein aus der renommierten Lage Zieregg, die zu den besten Weinbergen der Südsteiermark zählt. Er wird zu 100 % aus der Rebsorte Sauvignon Blanc vinifiziert und trägt die Klassifikation Große STK Lage (GSTK), was ihn als Spitzenwein von internationalem Format auszeichnet. Die Reben wachsen auf einem einzigartigen Hochplateau oberhalb des Weinguts, am Fuße der Karmeliter Kapelle. Die Böden bestehen aus wasserabweisendem, schwerem Ton und Lehm auf Korallenkalk – einem Überrest des Urmeeres vor rund 16 Millionen Jahren.
Die etwa 20 Jahre alten Rebstöcke, rund 7.000 Pflanzen auf 1,48 Hektar Fläche, profitieren von einer idealen Höhenlage von 470 Metern. Ganztägige Sonneneinstrahlung wird durch den kühlenden Waldmantel gemildert, wodurch die Trauben langsamer reifen und ihre komplexe Aromatik entwickeln können. Nach einer natürlichen Spontangärung reift der Wein für 30 Monate auf der Feinhefe in kleinen, alten Eichenfässern. Abgefüllt wird er unfiltriert und verschlossen mit Naturkork. Der Tement Zieregg Kapelle besitzt ein außergewöhnliches Lagerpotenzial von über 20 Jahren und wird zur vollen Entfaltung seiner Tiefe und Eleganz am besten dekantiert. Tasting notes:
Im Glas zeigt der Tement Sauvignon Blanc Ried Zieregg Kapelle 2022 eine strahlende, hellgoldene Farbe mit zarten grünlichen Reflexen. In der Nase entfaltet sich ein facettenreiches Bukett von Feuerstein, Zitrusfrüchten und einer tiefgründigen mineralischen Würze. Am Gaumen überzeugt er mit ungemeiner Saftigkeit, dunkler Frucht, feiner Würze und einer klaren Struktur, die in ein langes, intensives Finale mündet.
