Bowmore 12 Years Old Islay Single Malt Whisky is the centerpiece of the traditional Bowmore distillery, which has been producing world-renowned whiskies on the Scottish island of Islay since 1779. This fine single malt whisky represents the perfect balance of smoke, freshness and elegant sweetness. It is matured in a masterful combination of hand-picked American oak casks (ex-bourbon casks) and European Oloroso sherry casks, creating a harmonious interplay of vanilla, honey, sherry and peat. This combination of two types of cask gives the whisky its characteristic depth and complexity - a trademark that makes Bowmore 12 Years Old a true classic among Islay whiskies.

Bottled at 40 % vol., this Islay single malt presents itself with its typical maritime note, which is influenced by the distillery's coastal location. Salty sea air, gentle peat smoke and the warmth of the oak casks create an intense but harmonious aroma profile. Bowmore places particular emphasis on traditional craftsmanship - from its own maltings to slow distillation and careful maturation in the old warehouses by the sea.
