Am Gaumen wirkt der österreichische Merlot weich, harmonisch und elegant, mit samtigen Tanninen, saftiger Frucht und ausgewogener Struktur. Der Abgang präsentiert sich fruchtig, weich und angenehm lang anhaltend.
