Cazcabel Tequila - 100% agave from Jalisco
Cazcabel stands for handcrafted tequila from four generations of agave history. In Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, the Vázquez family processes 100% Blue Weber agave into blanco, reposado and elixirs - all in accordance with NOM 1436 without additives, with a focus on purity, terroir and aroma.
Region & origin
The agaves come from the high-altitude fields around Atotonilco El Alto. The mineral-rich soils and high-altitude climate give the tequila freshness, depth and regional character.
Production & craft
The agave hearts (piñas) are steamed for >26 hours in brick ovens, fermented in stainless steel and distilled in copper and steel tanks. The minimally processed Blanco is bottled directly, the Reposado matures for 9-11 months in American oak, scourged with vanilla notes and spices.
