Der Brandy wurde mir hoch angepriesen und ich habe gleich 2 Flaschen gekauft. Leider bin ich etwas enttäuscht was die Qualität angeht.
Der Weinbrand hat ein sehr intensives Aroma, aber den Alkohol kann man stark riechen und schmecken. Von einem weichen Abgang kann nicht die Rede sein.
Dies deutet auf eine kurze Fassreifung hin.
Wie das zustande kommt ist mir ein Rätsel. Denn:
Ein intensives Aroma und ein weicher Abgang kommen meines Wissens nach durch ein sorgfältig gewähltes Fass und eine lange Reifung zustande.
D.h. ein weniger intensives Aroma (bei weniger gutem Fass) und ein weicher Alkohol sind möglich, wenn der Brand lange im Fass gereift ist, aber nicht umgekehrt wie bei dem Brandy der Fall ist.
