Description

The Kilchoman Ballinaby Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46% is an exclusive travel retail edition that impressively reflects the unmistakable character of the young farm distillery on Islay. The bottling matured entirely in sherry casks, creating a deep, warm cask finish that harmonizes perfectly with the typical Kilchoman smoke profile. The distillery focuses on maximum authenticity for this edition: the whisky is bottled non-chill filtered and contains no colorants, which preserves its natural structure and coloring. Thanks to the combination of intensive sherry cask maturation and maritime smoke, Ballinaby is an expressive single malt that clearly shows the distillery's signature.

Kilchoman, as one of the few independent farm distilleries in Scotland, processes traditionally grown barley malt itself and distils exclusively on Islay. This special production method is also reflected in Ballinaby, which impresses with its combination of sherry spice, peat smoke and harmonious depth. With an alcohol content of 46%, it offers a present but balanced structure that appeals to both connoisseurs and lovers of classic Islay flavors. The presentation in a high-quality gift box underlines the special position of this travel retail bottling within the Kilchoman portfolio.
