The Kilchoman 100% Islay The 15th Edition with 50% volume and 0.7 liter content is a limited annual edition from the young but already highly regarded Kilchoman Distillery on Islay. This series is unique as the whisky is produced 100% on the island - from growing the barley to malting, distilling, maturing and bottling. It therefore embodies the pure "farm-to-bottle" concept and is an authentic expression of Islay terroir.

The 15th edition was created from a combination of 21 casks, consisting of fino sherry casks and first fill bourbon barrels. This cask selection ensures a complex combination of fresh citrus notes, sweet malt, delicate sherry notes and the maritime peat smoke typical of Kilchoman. Like all of the distillery's bottlings, this whisky is bottled uncolored and non-chill-filtered to fully preserve its natural character.

With its limited edition, Kilchoman 100% Islay The 15th Edition is not only a pleasure to drink, but also a coveted collector's item for lovers of authentic Islay malts. (automated translation) Tasting notes: Color: Light gold.

Kilchoman 100% Islay The 15th Edition is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the cask and peat flavors. It harmonizes perfectly with smoked salmon, grilled seafood or oysters. It also offers an exciting interplay with mature hard cheese, dark chocolate or a light lemon dessert.
