Ist ja wohl der einzige echt trinkbare Canadian, der nicht nur angenehm schmeckt sondern auch Charakter besitzt. Leider ist es auch hier so, dass er früher besser war. Ich kenne ihn seit den frühen 90ern. Aber man gibt sich Mühe, seinen guten Geschmack aufrecht zu erhalten, obwohl wesentliche Bestandteile aus alten Beständen einer aufgelassenen Destillery aufgebraucht sind. Lieblich und gut, aber keine fünf Sterne mehr.

Ich habe mich in letzter Zeit zum Bourbon Liebhaber gemausert.
Das heißt aber nicht das ich die extrem rauchig - würzigen oder die wunderbar duftenden und leicht zu trinkenden Irischen Whisky vermissen möchte.
Aber nun zum Crown Royal.
Er ist herrlich süß und schmeckt ähnlich wie die Amerikanischen Bourbon Whiskey´s.
Wer es gerne Süß mag sollte sich seinen Champion herausfiltern.
