The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks, Madeira casks, Marsala casks, port wine casks and Cabernet Sauvignon barriques. Dieser Dalmore ist einer meiner Liebsten... Dieser Singel Malt wird durch die Nase als sehr gesetz und reif empfunden mit anklängen von Schokolade, etwas Eiche und dunklen Früchten ... Am Gaumen ist er nach einem anfangs würzigen Antritt überraschend mild mit einem leichten Spiel der Aromen ... Man merkt dass dieser Whisky aus mehreren Jahrgängen zusammengestellt wurde, die wunderbar harmonieren

Aufgrund der vielen verschiedenen Fässer (Sherry, Port, Madeira,...) sehr komplex und schwer zu bestimmen. Schokoladenaroma, Vanille, langer Abgang. KEIN Einsteigerwhisky.
