Rum Nation Rare is a series of premium rums produced by the independent Italian bottler Rum Nation. Rum Nation is known for sourcing, selecting and bottling exceptional rums from various distilleries around the world under its own label. The Rum Nation Rare series focuses on showcasing rare and limited rums from different countries and regions. Each release within the Rare series is carefully selected for its exceptional quality, unique flavor profile and the story behind it.
Rum Nation Rare Diamond Small Batch 2003/2018 is a blend of rums distilled in 2003 at the Diamond Distillery in Guyana. The distillery has always been known for producing high quality Demerara rum. The rum is a small batch bottling and matures for 15 years in second-fill bourbon casks, which is then followed by its 14-month finish in casks that previously held one of the smoothest Speyside whiskies in Scotland. The extremely slow maturation gives the rum its superbly elegant, salty and peppery character.
