The brand, named after the Scottish grocer George Ballantine, was born out of his passion for high-quality teas and whiskies. Dissatisfied with the whiskies available, George began to create his own blends, which brought him great fame. In 1895, Ballantine & Son was awarded a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria, which cemented the company's reputation. In 1910, the family blended the "Finest" for the first time, which is still produced today according to the original recipe and is proof of timeless quality.
In 2023, Ballantine's celebrates one of the most iconic bands of all time: AC/DC. To honor the rock'n'roll character of this legendary band, a limited edition of the "Finest" has been created. Ballantine's Finest AC/DC Edition is made from a carefully selected blend of malt and grain whiskies, which together create a harmonious composition. The whisky is matured in oak casks, allowing the aromas to develop and deepen in a unique way.
These bottles emphasize the iconic style and undying energy of AC/DC.
