Der Salzl Zweigelt Reserve 2021 ist ein ausdrucksstarker, tiefgründiger Rotwein aus dem Burgenland, der mit Kraft, Eleganz und aromatischer Dichte begeistert. Hergestellt aus 100 % Zweigelt, stammt dieser charaktervolle Wein aus den besten Lagen des Seewinkels. Die Reben wachsen auf Paratschernosem-Böden, einer besonderen Bodenformation aus lehmigem Sand mit hohem Kiesanteil – beste Voraussetzungen für konzentrierte, strukturreiche Rotweine mit Mineralität und Tiefe.
Die Vinifikation folgt einer traditionellen Maischegärung im Stahltank bei 30 °C, mit einer Maischestandzeit von 14 Tagen und anschließendem biologischen Säureabbau, um die Textur zu harmonisieren. Der Wein reifte anschließend 12 Monate im kleinen Eichenfass, bevor er im Juli 2024 abgefüllt und mit einem Drehverschluss verschlossen wurde – modern, praktisch und aromaschonend. Das Reifepotenzial dieser Reserve reicht von 2025 bis 2034 und macht ihn sowohl zum sofortigen Genuss als auch zur Einlagerung empfehlenswert.

Tasting notes:
Im Glas zeigt sich der Salzl Zweigelt Reserve 2021 in einem dunklen Rubingranat mit nahezu schwarzem Kern, violetten Reflexen und zarter Randaufhellung. Die Nase verführt mit reifen Weichseln, Kirschkompott, Heidelbeeren und feinen Noten von Tabak, kandierten Orangenzesten und zarter Röstaromatik. Am Gaumen eine kraftvolle, cremige Textur mit schmelziger Frucht, feiner Säure, salziger Mineralik und eleganten Tanninen. Die Aromen von rotem Waldbeerkonfit, Zwetschken, Schokolade und Kokos führen in ein langes, würziges Finish mit herrlichem Trinkfluss.

Dieser kraftvolle Zweigelt Reserve aus dem Burgenland passt hervorragend zu gereiftem Rindfleisch, geschmortem Wild, Lammbraten, gegrilltem Entrecôte oder würzigem Hartkäse. Auch zu herbstlichen Gemüsegerichten mit Pilzen oder kräftiger Pasta entfaltet er seine Aromatik perfekt. Ideal für festliche Anlässe, den Weinkeller oder anspruchsvolle Genießer, die einen vollmundigen österreichischen Rotwein mit Reifepotenzial suchen. Die empfohlene Trinktemperatur liegt bei 16 °C.
