Diese Distillers Edition erhält jedoch eine zusätzliche Dimension durch eine gezielte Doppelreifung, die den markanten Rauch elegant mit süßeren Komponenten verbindet.
Nach der klassischen Reifung in Refill-Fässern aus amerikanischer und europäischer Eiche sowie nachgekohlten amerikanischen Eichenfässern wird der Single Malt für mindestens drei Monate in Pedro Ximénez Seasoned American Oak Casks nachgereift. Dieses Finish verleiht dem Whisky eine ausgeprägte Fruchtsüße und dunkle, rosinenbetonte Facetten, ohne den charakteristischen Torfrauch zu überdecken. Abgefüllt mit 43% Vol., präsentiert sich diese Edition ausgewogen, tiefgründig und zugleich zugänglich, wobei Rauch, Süße und Würze in harmonischer Balance stehen. Tasting notes:

Nase: Intensiver Torfrauch mit süßen Sherrynoten, getrockneten Früchten und maritimen Anklängen.

Abgang: Lang anhaltend, wärmend, rauchig mit süßem Sherry-Nachhall.
