Diese edelsüße Cuvée aus Sämling 88 und Chardonnay vereint kraftvolle Frucht, reife Säure und bemerkenswerte Komplexität zu einem harmonischen Gesamterlebnis. Die Trauben stammen aus Illmitz, wo die warmen Tage und kühlen Nächte des Seewinkels optimale Bedingungen für die Entstehung von Trockenbeerenauslesen bieten. Der Boden besteht aus Schwarzerde mit lehmigem Schluff und hohem Kiesanteil, was für ein vielschichtiges Terroir sorgt.
Die Gärung erfolgt über einen Zeitraum von sechs Wochen bei 13 °C im gebrauchten Eichenfass, das dem Wein zusätzlich Tiefe und eine feine Holznote verleiht, ohne seine Frucht zu überlagern. Anschließend reift der Wein kontrolliert weiter und entwickelt eine Balance, die ihn zum lagerfähigen Süßwein erster Güte macht. Die Trinkreife reicht von 2024 bis mindestens 2044, bei optimaler Lagerung sogar noch länger. Tasting notes:
Im Glas zeigt sich die Trockenbeerenauslese in einem leuchtenden Goldgelb mit dichter Reflexion. Die Nase wird getragen von reifer Birne, Pfirsichmus, Maracuja und Ananas, untermalt von Holunderblüten, Blütenhonig, Orangenzesten und zarten Zitrusanklängen. Dazu gesellen sich frische Kräuter, Kamille und eine feine Karamellnote. Am Gaumen dicht, saftig und druckvoll, mit Honigmelone, Dörrobst, Weingartenpfirsich und einer seidigen Honigsüße, perfekt ausbalanciert durch eine lebendige, präzise Säurestruktur. Die Eleganz und Vielschichtigkeit machen diesen Wein zu einem großen Vertreter seiner Kategorie – mit langem Nachhall und beeindruckender aromatischer Tiefe.
