The Bruichladdich Distillery, known for its high-quality whiskies, is located on the Scottish island of Islay and also produces a remarkable gin: Bruichladdich The Botanist Islay Gin. For the production of Botanist Islay Gin, the distillery uses a total of 22 locally sourced botanicals, including juniper cones, chamomile, lemon balm, thyme, elderflower and birch leaves. These ingredients are complemented by unusual botanicals such as the leaves of marsh myrtle and the flowers of creeping thistle as well as tansy, white clover and meadowsweet.
