Der Salzl New Style Chardonnay 2023 ist ein ausdrucksstarker Weißwein aus dem Burgenland, der die moderne Stilistik des Hauses Salzl perfekt verkörpert. Mit seiner klaren Struktur, seiner eleganten Kraft und seiner cremigen Fülle präsentiert er sich als Chardonnay von internationalem Format. Die Trauben stammen aus Paratschernosem-Böden, die aus lehmigem Sand mit hohem Kiesanteil bestehen. Dieses Terroir verleiht dem Wein seine mineralische Frische und eine präzise Fruchtdefinition.
Die Vinifizierung erfolgte mit großer Sorgfalt: Nach der alkoholischen und malolaktischen Gärung bei 15 °C reifte der Wein im kleinen Eichenfass auf der Feinhefe, wobei er regelmäßig aufgerührt wurde. Durch diese Technik erhält der Chardonnay seine cremige Textur, Fülle und aromatische Vielschichtigkeit. Die Trinkreife beginnt ab 2025 und erstreckt sich bei optimaler Lagerung bis mindestens 2033, was ihn zu einem Wein mit beeindruckendem Entwicklungspotenzial macht. Mit 14 % Vol. Alkohol verbindet der Salzl New Style Chardonnay 2023 Konzentration, Eleganz und Balance in idealer Weise. Tasting notes:
Im Glas zeigt sich der Salzl New Style Chardonnay 2023 in einem intensiven, saftigen Goldgelb mit grünen Reflexen. In der Nase entfalten sich komplexe Aromen von exotischen Tropenfrüchten wie Ananas, Papaya und Banane, begleitet von reifen Äpfeln, getrockneten Marillen und Pfirsichen. Feine Nuancen von Vanille, weißer Schokolade, Kokos und einem Hauch Weihrauch unterstreichen die Eleganz. Am Gaumen zeigt er einen kraftvollen Körper mit cremiger Textur, dichter Fruchtfülle und würzigen Noten von Holunderblüten, Karamell und getoastetem Weißbrot. Das Finale ist lang, mineralisch-salzig und von lebendiger Frische geprägt.
