Brugal Rum
Don Andres Brugal Montaner founded the distillery in the Dominican Republic in 1988. For over 5 generations now, Brugal rum has been produced by the same family and exported all over the world. Today, the distillery is in the hands of Gustavo and Jassil Brugal, who are the master distillers and preserve tradition while following new trends. The high-quality Brugal rum is produced according to an old craft and with attention to detail.
The basis for production is molasses and the distillery's own style. The secret of its success is the multiple distillation of the rum, which produces outstanding purity and a clear structure. Brugal rum is matured in barrels made from American and European oak. During the ageing process, the barrels face north and south to take advantage of the Dominican sun from morning to evening. The bottles are wrapped in straw and marketed in this way. The range includes both a white and a dark rum. The Brugal Ron Blanco Especial Extra Dry Rum is a rather dry variety. The Brugal Ron Anejo is a dark rum that is aged for 5 years. Exclusive products are also offered, such as the Brugal Ron 1888 Gran Reserva Familiar and Brugal Ron XV Reserva Exclusiva.
