Description
The Salzl Weissburgunder 2024 is a multi-faceted white wine from Burgenland that impresses with its expression, structure and clear origin. The grapes come from sites with soil characterized by black earth, which consists of loamy silt with a high gravel content - ideal conditions for mineral finesse and aromatic depth. The wine is matured at a controlled temperature of 15 °C in stainless steel tanks, followed by 4 months on the fine lees. This method provides additional texture, harmonious structure and an elegant smoothness.
100% Pinot Blanc - a grape variety that is rarely interpreted as convincingly in the region as here - produces a wine with a clear varietal expression, fine acidity and moderate residual sugar (3.4 g/l).
